Kyle Kuzma chips in four off the bench in Thursday's loss

by Dave Kluge | Wizards Correspondent | Fri, Feb 7th 8:09am EST

Kyle Kuzma scored four points last night (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), grabbed six rebounds, had one assist, and one steal over 20 relief minutes in the 121-111 loss to the Rockets on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Kuzma played a relief role for the eight straight contest and turned in a pretty quiet outing. Since being relegated to the bench, Kuzma has turned in 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. All of those numbers are below his season averages, which were already the worst of his three-year career. Kuzma's regression continues but his ability to go off for big scoring games keeps him as a high-ceiling option in DFS tournaments. He's still too good to drop in fantasy, just a frustrating player to own given where you drafted him and the production you expected. He and the Lakers will face the Warriors on Saturday night.
