Jalen McDaniels makes the most of his time in win against the Pistons

Jalen McDaniels totaled eight points (2-3 FG, 2-3 3PT, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds in 17 minutes in the Hornets’ 87-76 victory against the Pistons on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

The San Diego State product made the most out of his time on Monday, putting up his best line in his fourth appearance this year. McDaniels was afforded another opportunity to make his case against the Pistons and was able to produce some promise going into the All-Star Break. With the Hornets focusing on the future, it would not surprise me if we started to see more of the explosive rookie during the back-half of the year. In February, he is averaging 18 minutes played per game, 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and is shooting 57.1 percent from the floor and 50 percent from beyond the arc. These numbers mean little right now but maybe improved upon and relevant in the future.
