Otto Porter Jr. (foot) should return to action by the end of Feburary

by Dave Kluge | Wed, Feb 12th 11:37am EST

Otto Porter Jr. is expected to be back by the end of the month to make his first appearance since suffering a foot injury on November 6th.

Fantasy Impact:

This is promising news for Bulls' small forward who has missed nearly the entire season with what was originally diagnosed as a minor injury. Even though the Bulls probably have no shot at making the playoffs this year, Porter Jr. will get a heavy dose of minutes and presumably play second fiddle to the explosive Zach LaVine as Jim Boylen will do his best to salvage his job in the midst of a lost season. Porter Jr. is worth a pickup in all leagues as a speculative add in the hopes that he can return to form as a good scoring option. Last year on the Bulls he averaged 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.6 blocks over 15 games.
