Markieff Morris chips in 14 points on Wednesday

Markieff Morris put up 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-5 3PT), eight rebounds, one assist, and one block in 21 minutes during the Pistons 116-112 loss to the Magic on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

This was Morris' second game back after sitting out five-games due to the flu and a hip injury. He saw 21 minutes of action off the bench and was able to put up a near double-double, while shooting 71 percent from the field. The stellar play of Christian Wood has more-than-likely earned him the starting Power Forward spot going forward, though Morris should continue to receive plenty of opportunities coming off the bench. The nine-year vet heads into the All-Star break with averages of 11.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
