Kent Bazemore

Kent Bazemore plays another hard-nosed game off the bench

by Dave Kluge | Thu, Feb 13th 9:56am EST

Kent Bazemore recorded 15 points (5-10 FG, 2-3 3PT, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, once assist, and once steal over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 130-111 loss to the Mavericks.

Fantasy Impact:

The move to acquire Bazemore was a head-scratcher when it went through as the Kings lineup isn't short of shooting guards or small forwards, where Bazemore plays. He's been buried in the depth chart behind Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Harrison Barnes and has failed to capitalize due to their solid play. The 28 minutes Bazemore played on Wednesday were the most he has seen since moving to Sacramento in mind-January. He's averaging 8.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 steals over 20.2 minutes in his 11 games with the Kings this year. Given his position on the team and lack of opportunity he's best kept on your league's waiver wire.
