Landry Shamet takes advantage of spot start, drops 19

by Dave Kluge | Wizards Correspondent | Fri, Feb 14th 11:41am EST

Landry Shamet recorded 19 points (5-11 FG, 4-8 3PT, 5-5 FT), and two assist in Thursday's 141-133 loss to the Celtics.

Fantasy Impact:

Shamet got the start in place of the injury Patrick Beverley and was able to churn out 19 points in the double overtime affair. He's seen a slight uptick in minutes and production in February as he's averaging 12.7 points, 2.1 assists, 1.4 rebounds, 0.4 steals, and 0.3 blocks over seven contests where he's played 33.4 minutes per game. He is best kept on your league's waiver wire as he's currently the sixth scoring option on the loaded Clippers roster.
