DeMarcus Cousins (knee) 'not close' to return

DeMarcus Cousins is not close to returning this season or postseason, according to recent comments from head coach Frank Vogel. (Kyle Goon on Twitter)

When asked about Cousins' shot at a potential playoff run, Vogel noted, "It’s a big challenge. It’s not ideal. That’s why we’re keeping expectations tempered. Not ruling it out." Cousins hasn't played a game in purple and gold this season after an ACL tear in his left knee and subsequent surgery last August. The door is still open for Boogie to make a postseason appearance, though the chances of that happening appear to be slim.
