Devonte’ Graham fails to “assist” his jump shot in win over Bulls

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Spurs Correspondent | Fri, Feb 21st 10:17am EST

Devonte’ Graham totaled zero points (0-7 FG, 0-5 3PT, 0-0 FT), two rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 33 minutes in the Hornets’ win over the Bulls 103 – 93 on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Graham put up a real-life stinker this past Thursday against the Bulls. He shot zero percent from the field and from beyond the arc, contributing a whopping zero points in a night where Malik Monk shot for 25 points. Although his seven assists played a positive role in the win and softened the fantasy blow, it failed to translate into any additional meaningful production for Graham. This effort is the first time this season in which Graham has failed to score in a contest; however, we can be confident, based on his "book of work" this season, that this is merely an isolated case. This month he is averaging 15.3 points, 8.6 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game. For someone as dynamic as he is, value will have a hard time not getting produced on a nightly basis. Continue to start him until further notice.
