Bismack Biyombo takes a backseat in win over Bulls

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Thunder Correspondent | Fri, Feb 21st 10:56am EST

Bismack Biyombo totaled three points (1-3 FG, 0-0 3PT, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 15 minutes in the Hornets’ win over the Bulls 103 – 93 on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

After getting the spot start against the Timberwolves, Biyombo found himself taking a backseat to Cody Zeller. In comparison to his stellar game right before All-Star Break, Biyombo was highly inactive and failed to produce meaningful value against the Bulls. On the year, however, he has seen consistent opportunity to showcase his ability and has shown that he has big-play potential. Biyombo is averaging 7.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and .9 assists per game, and is worth a look in deep-league play.
