Malik Beasley erupts for 27 points in loss to Celtics

Malik Beasley totaled 27 points (10-18 FG, 4-8 3PT, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist, and one block in 36 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 127-117 loss to the Celtics on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Beasley was seemingly unstoppable on the floor last night, putting on a shooting clinic for all to see. In the past four games with the Timberwolves, he has managed to score 20 plus points in three of them and is averaging a healthy 23.25 points per game. He has averaged 33.75 minutes of playing time in the past four games and has taken an average of 18.5 and 10.25 shots from the floor and from beyond the arc, respectively. Beasley has undoubtedly taken his new role by force and is quickly reaping benefits for the Timberwolves. Although the offensive volume is sure to take a dip, he has carved out a valuable role alongside D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns and should continue to see all the minutes he can handle. He is most certainly an add in all fantasy formats; however, it would be best to monitor how his play is affected once the Timberwolves are healthy.
