Donovan Mitchell explodes for 38 points in losing effort

by Dave Kluge | Cavaliers Correspondent | Tue, Feb 25th 12:06am EST

Donovan Mitchell scored an extremely efficient 38 points (11-19 FG, 6-9 3PT, 10-12 FT), grabbed four rebounds, dished four assists, and stole one ball over 35 minutes in Monday's 139-111 loss to the Suns.

Fantasy Impact:

Mitchell was the only bright spot in an otherwise awful night for the Jazz. In a game where Rudy Gobert struggled to get anything going on the offensive end Mitchell took over for his second-best scoring total of the season. This is the fourth time this season that Mitchell has been able to string together consecutive game of at least 30 points, as he just scored 31 on Saturday against the Rockets. He's now averaging 24.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.2 blocks this season and remains a top option at the deep shooting guard position.
