Jarrett Culver continues to play well in loss to Mavericks

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Tue, Feb 25th 10:41am EST

Jarrett Culver totaled 13 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3PT, 4-7 FT) and six rebounds in 22 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 139-123 loss to the Mavericks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Culver was able to continue his good play against the Mavericks Monday night as he recorded his first back-to-back double-digit scoring effort since January 18th. Culver has managed to reach double-digit scoring in three of his last five games and has slowly been able to improve his impact by contributing in other statistical categories as well. He has the potential to put up meaningful performances on a nightly basis. If Culver can rekindle the energy he played with in January moving forward, it wouldn't be crazy to think that he could be a tremendous asset to your fantasy squad. It would be best to take a wait-and-see approach to ensure the team is willing to provide him with the same level of opportunity he was granted with last month, but either way, he is worth a speculative add, especially in deep-league play.
