James Johnson totaled 19 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3PT, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 24 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 139-123 loss to the Mavericks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson put up 19 points this past Monday night against the Mavericks, marking his largest scoring effort since January 20th with the Heat. Since joining the Timberwolves, his game has significantly improved as he is enjoying his best statistical month of play this year. So far, in February, he is averaging 25.3 minutes of playing time, 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game. Based on his level of production, especially across each statistical category and the opportunity, the Timberwolves are providing him, it wouldn't be crazy to consider Johnson a must add in deep-league formats.
