Jake Layman plays 13 minutes in loss to Mavericks

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Tue, Feb 25th 11:39am EST

Jake Layman totaled five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3PT, 0-1 FT) and three rebounds in 13 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 139-123 loss to the Mavericks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

In his first game back, Layman contributed a modest stat-line in his limited time on the floor. His return should result in increased production for the Timberwolves and should provide them with more dynamic play in their frontcourt. On the year, Layman has averaged 10.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game. Depending on the state of your roster, Layman may or may not be worth a deep league add. It would be best to take a wait-and-see approach, as he is capable of providing high-floor games.
