Naz Reid struggles with his shot in loss to Mavericks

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Timberwolves Correspondent | Tue, Feb 25th 12:29pm EST

Naz Reid totaled six points (2-10 FG, 1-3 3PT, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 27 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 139-123 loss to the Mavericks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Reid was unable to get his shot right this past Monday against the Mavericks, shooting only 20 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. This game marked his worse shooting performance on the year and led to him having a less than stellar performance. He was able to salvage his night by packing the rest of his stat-line in which he had a season-high three blocks. Reid remains, however, a great source of value and has shown that he can be a consistent contributor within his role alongside Karl-Anthony Towns. Based on his skillset and production on a per-minute basis, he is certainly worth a pick-up in deep league play.
