Jalen McDaniels contributes six boards in win over the Knicks

Jalen McDaniels totaled five points (2-3 FG, 0-0 3PT, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 22 minutes in the Hornets’ 107-101 win against the Knicks on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

The rookie saw his performance tremendously limited as he once again found himself in foul trouble. Outside of contributing six boards, McDaniels put up a conservative stat-line adding to his average of 5.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and .9 steals per game for February. Even though his stats aren’t jumping off the page, McDaniels appears to be progressing at a nice rate and is taking advantage of the recent opportunities he has been given. Although he isn’t fantasy relevant at this time, it may be worth keeping him on your radar for deep-league play as he seems to have the potential to put together some healthy performances should he limit his fouling woes.
