Bruno Fernando one rebound shy of a double-double in starting role

by Brad Camara | Hawks Correspondent | Thu, Feb 27th 6:24am EST

Bruno Fernando provided 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal across 22 minutes in Wednesday's 130-120 loss to the Magic.

Fantasy Impact:

Fernando started for the first time since January 26th, and was one rebound shy of posting a double-double. He has now scored double figures in back-to-back contests. With Clint Capela weeks away from returning, Fernando should see an expanded role in Atlanta's rotation. The 21-year old is worth adding in deep-league formats and could even see a bigger role in the offense if Dewayne Dedmon (elbow) remains sidelined. The Hawks next scheduled game is Friday, home against the Nets.
