by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Thu, Feb 27th 9:34am EST

Juancho Hernangomez totaled 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3PT, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 31 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 129-126 win over the Heat on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Hernangomez broke out of his slump in a major way this past Wednesday against the Heat. He shot an impressive 63.6 percent from the floor and 60 percent from beyond the arc. In addition to his scoring, he was able to contribute added value to other performance categories as well. In the past seven games, he has scored double-digit points in five of them. Since his acquisition, he has been enjoying his best statistical month of play averaging 28.5 minutes of playing time, 11.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, .8 assists, and .7 steals per game. Although he can revert to the minimal play that characterized his contribution in Denver, he is worth an add in all formats.
