Kelly Oubre Jr. suffered torn meniscus

After missing the last game with what was called a general “knee” injury, an initial exam has revealed that Kelly Oubre Jr. has in fact suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee. (Chris Haynes on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

He will seek a second opinion, but let’s not get our hopes up. This is not the news fantasy owners wanted to hear regarding Oubre’s knee injury. He was one of the biggest fantasy surprises of the season, and had been paying huge dividends for his owners. Dario Saric took his place in the starting lineup last game and saw 31 minutes. Cameron Johnson was the first man off the bench and saw a generous 26 minutes of game action. Look for both guys to see these type of minutes going forward for the short-handed Suns.
