Danny Green shut out in Thursday's win

by Dave Kluge | Fri, Feb 28th 9:23am EST

Danny Green scored zero points and assisted in one basket over 19 minutes in Thursday's 116-86 road win over the Warriors.

Fantasy Impact:

This was the first time Green was held scoreless since November 11th. The three-and-D vet relies on dimes from Lebron James to facilitate his spot-up style of shooting and with James getting a rest night, Green only attempted on shot. It should be noted that Green was playing through an eye laceration that he suffered a few nights ago, so that may have had something to do with his off night. Green is averaging 8.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in his 11th season as a pro. While those numbers are far from eye-popping, he's been able to score 20+ four times this season and is stroking 38.1% from deep, proving that he still has a bit of boom potential.
