Marcus Morris comes up small against Nuggets

by Jon Mathisen | Cavaliers Correspondent | Sat, Feb 29th 1:13am EST

Marcus Morris managed six points (2-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block across 25 minutes as the Clippers handled the Nuggets 132-103 on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

This was not the performance fantasy owners expected from Morris, who was coming off of his best game as a member of the Clippers. While he was a fantasy stalwart on the Knicks averaging 19.6 points and shooting 44-percent from three his averages have taken a haircut with the Clippers. He's putting up 11.7 points per game while shooting 35.5-percent from beyond the arc, which isn't cutting it offensively. The team obviously values his contributions as he's started every game since joining the Clips but there is a real danger that he becomes a better real life player than a fantasy one.
