Jarrett Culver shoots well in loss to Mavericks

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Mon, Mar 2nd 4:39pm EST

Jarrett Culver totaled 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3PT, 0-0 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 25 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 111-91 loss to the Mavericks on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Although Culver put up another conservative game, he shot well from the floor and beyond the arc. His fifty percent all-around shooting night provided a good base for his overall stat-line and made his night a positive one against the Mavericks. Until Culver can perform at a higher-level consistently, it would be safe to say he isn’t worth a roster spot at this time. Once he gets back some of that fire he showed in January, where he averaged 12 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, .8 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game, he would be safe to start in deep-league play.
