Kyle Anderson ice-cold in Monday's blowout win

by Dave Kluge | Timberwolves Correspondent | Tue, Mar 3rd 9:59am EST

Kyle Anderson scored three points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3PT, 1-2 FT), grabbed seven boards, dished two assists, and blocked and swiped one ball each over 21 minutes in Monday's 127-88 win over the Hawks.

Fantasy Impact:

Although Anderson was ice-cold shooting, he made up for it with seven rebounds even though he's averaging just 4.3 on the season. Because of Anderson's rough start and the Grizzlies' huge lead, Anderson was benched for third-year forward Josh Jackson who took full advantage with a solid performance. Because of Jackson's rawness, don't expect that trend to continue past this contest against the lowly Hawks. Anderson should bounce back with a better effort Wednesday against the Nets.
