Malik Beasley puts on a shooting clinic in win against the Pelicans

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Bucks Correspondent | Wed, Mar 4th 8:41am EST

Malik Beasley totaled 28 points (11-13 FG, 4-5 3PT, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, and four assists in 36 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 139-134 victory over the Pelicans on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Beasley remained on fire this past Tuesday night against the Pelicans, as it was a perfect environment for his game. He extended his double-digit scoring streak to 13 games and did so at a high-level. He put on a clinic shooting 84.6 percent from the field and 80 percent from beyond the arc. Since joining the Timberwolves, Beasley has enjoyed feasting in his new role and has been offensively robust in his play despite playing alongside usage heavy D’Angelo Russell. He continues to show his high-floor and his growing ceiling; even though he is capable of putting up underwhelming performances from time to time, his momentum and overall success don’t show any signs of diminishing. He is a reliable source of high-volume value and should be rostered and started in all formats until shown otherwise.
