D’Angelo Russell has 26th straight double-digit scoring performance in win

D’Angelo Russell totaled 19 points (6-13 FG, 4-10 3PT, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 31 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 115-108 victory over the Bulls on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Wasting no time to pick up where he left off, Russell has been stellar in his play since joining the Timberwolves. His 19-point game against the Bulls this past Wednesday marked his 26th straight double-digit scoring performance, a streak that began during his previous play with the Warriors. In his nine games with the Timberwolves Russell has averaged 33.1 minutes played, 18 field goals taken, 9.6 three-points taken, 4.2 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 23.1 points per game. His volume, usage, and opportunity continue to make him a must-start in all formats, as long as he maintains a healthy number of minutes. If the Timberwolves, for some reason, begin to rest him more due to the loss season, it would be best to monitor how that will impact the value stream of your team.
