Lonzo Ball flirts with triple-double on Friday

by Alex Burns | Pelicans Correspondent | Sat, Mar 7th 1:35am EST

Lonzo Ball produced 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3PT, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during the Pelicans' 110-104 victory over the Miami Heat on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Ball was extremely productive on Friday, falling one rebound and two assists shy of his fourth triple-double of the 2020 campaign. The third-year pro has been remarkable since the calendar flipped to March, averaging 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.7 assists while hitting over 4 three's per game over his last four. Fantasy owners have to be pleased with this kind of production and if this is the beginning of things to come, Ball's value will skyrocket. He will look to keep up his stellar play on Sunday as the Pelicans travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves.
