Jalen McDaniels logs a career-high 29 minutes in win against the Heat

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Hornets Correspondent | Thu, Mar 12th 9:16pm EDT

Jalen McDaniels totaled five points (1-3 FG, 1-1 3PT, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, and two assists in 29 minutes in the Hornets’ 109-98 win against the Heat on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

McDaniels logged a career-high 29 minutes this past Wednesday against the Heat, however, was unable to do much from a fantasy standpoint outside of corral six rebounds. Although he does little in the scoring department, he has shown some skill at crashing the boards having secured at least one rebound in every game since the beginning of February. McDaniels is averaging 20.8 minutes per game as the primary back-up to PJ Washington and has shown the potential of being able to provide value. However, he has not played well enough consistently to be considered as a value add for your team. He is an easy faded in all formats at this time.
