In an interview with Mavs.com, Jalen Brunson revealed that he has been given a four-to-six month timetable for recovery after undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. (Mavs.com)
Brunson elected to have surgery on March 13th, two days after the NBA season was suspended indefinitely. Now seven weeks removed from surgery, Brunson said that his rehab is "going pretty well" but acknowledged that he would miss the remainder of the season if play resumes. The Mavericks backup point guard is expected to be ready for training camp next season.
