The Portland Trail Blazers shared an Instagram video of G/F Rodney Hood doing weight-bearing exercises five months after tearing his left achilles tendon on December 6th in a game versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite his progress, he will not be returning 'under any circumstance' this season. (Portland Trail Blazers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Hood had surgery to repair a torn left achilles tendon on December 11, 2019. Hood provided an update on his rehab on April 15th and mentioned he was "moving along well and doing pool workouts." He stated that the next phase in his rehab would be doing weight-bearing exercises so it is great to see him reach that milestone in under a month's time (since his last update). He's since pfficially declared himself out for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season but his rehab is clearly heading in the right direction with this latest development.
