Jerami Grant is expected to decline his player option for 2020-2021 and will become a free agent, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. (Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

Grant is likely to decline his player option for $9 million and become a free agent. “Like you said, I feel like I definitely outplayed the $9 million that I’m making each year right now," Grant said. "But at the same time, I’d love to come to a conclusion or something like that with Denver, it just depends what we discuss and negotiate when the time comes.” The 26-year-old should draw interest in the free agent market. Before the NBA season was suspended, Grant was posting top-75 numbers in category leagues. He averaged 11.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.4 triples across 64 games. Grant will look to latch onto another team this off-season and pending on where he lands, could see an increase in fantasy value.
