Kyrie Irving won’t play again this season, but could join team in Orlando

Nets G Kyrie Irving, who had season-ending shoulder surgery back in March, said on the NBPA conference call that he might join his teammates in Orlando when the season resumes, but only as in inactive player. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This statement coming after Irving’s teammate Kevin Durant told Marc Spears that his season is over and he won’t be returning. Looks like Irving will join Durant as a non-participant when the 2019-20 NBA season resumes play on July 31 at Walt Disney World. Look for a full recovery from both Irving and Durant ahead of the 2020-21 regular season. With a healthy superstar duo, Brooklyn is poised to make a whole lot of noise next season.
