Andre Roberson (patellar tendon) has a real chance of playing this season

by Adam Koffler | Thunder Correspondent | Sat, Jun 6th 9:57am EDT

Thunder G/F Andre Roberson (patellar tendon), who hasn’t played since early 2018 when he ruptured his patellar tendon in his left knee, is past the rehab phase of his return and has a real shot at playing when the 2019-20 season resumes. (The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact:

The Thunder find themselves in the fifth-seed in the Western Conference as it stands today. Roberson is an elite defender who would certainly assist Oklahoma City on the defensive side of the ball if he were to return to action in late July. He’s also in the final year of a three-year, $30M contract, so being able to play would give him a better shot at another contract as he enters into free agency this offseason.
