Klay Thompson ‘recovering fine’ from ACL reconstruction surgery

According to Warriors GM Bob Myers, Klay Thomson has been “recovering fine, and there hasn’t been a setback,” in his rehab from ACL reconstruction surgery last summer. (Mark Medina on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Thompson suffered a torn ACL in a game 6 loss to the Toronto Raptors last June. He’s almost a year into his rehab and he seems to be on track to return to full strength soon. Despite that, Myers didn’t want to commit to Thompson being at 100% health at this point in time. He said, “ We have to take a look at him when we see him. There’s different versions of 100 percent. 100 percent for you or me with being able to walk around the street, that’s not 100 percent for a basketball player playing basketball." The Warriors won’t be playing the rest of the 2019-20 season in Orlando, so it’s likely Thompson can resume all normal basketball activities for the start of the 2020-21 season in December this year.
