Fred VanVleet to the Knicks?

In a conversation on The Atlantic, former league executive John Hollinger said that he’d heard VanVleet’s name connected to the Knicks. The Knicks are projected to have upwards of $50 million in cap space and need an answer for the point guard position. VanVleet will be a highly sought-after commodity on the market as he has averaged 17.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.9 steals a game this season. With a lottery pick in the upcoming draft and a vacancy at head coach, the Knicks have a lot to think about moving forward. Should VanVleet go to the Knicks, one could speculate that his fantasy production would see a nice boost and that he could have an immediate impact on turning the franchise around with the likes of RJ Barrett, Julius Randle, and Mitchell Robinson. We, however, will have to wait and see what becomes of these rumors.
