Joe Ingles, in response to the topic of what the Jazz are doing until they fly to Orlando on July seventh, commented that “it’s a really important time right now. I hope if my teammates are listening, they put their July fourth parties on hold. I’ll throw them a party when we get back.” (Andy Larsen on Twitter )
Sharing his perspective, Ingles didn’t hesitate to share his thoughts on the “bubble” situation, “to say that I’m completely comfortable, I mean, I’m definitely not. But I’m going to obviously put myself in a position to be as safe as possible. I’m going to spend a lot of time in my room with my coffee machine and get to know it very well.” In any case, it will take a team effort to get through the remainder of the season, as they look to re-build the momentum and chemistry they had during the season. On the year, Ingles has played 64 contests for the Jazz and has averaged 29.9 minutes of playing time, 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. Ingles has the talent to be a game-changer; however, his conservative play seems to limit his ability to play toward his potential. He is a versatile piece of the rotation and usually provides a balanced stat-sheet night-in and night-out. He is worth a look for deep-league play if you are looking for an additional source of value with the potential of producing a generous amount of upside.
