Bradley Beal noncommittal on playing in the Disney World bubble

On a Zoom call with reporters Wednesday, Wizards star guard Bradley Beal said that he has yet to make a final decision on whether or not he’ll play the remainder of the season. (David Aldridge on Twitter)

"I'm working my tail off every single day as if I am playing,” said Beal. “I’m not swayed, one way or another." He’ll talk to the medical team again before making a final determination on whether or not to join his teammates in the bubble for the remainder of the season. The Wizards currently sit one spot out from the Orlando Magic who hold the 8th-seed in the playoffs. Without their top scorer in Beal, Washington would be hard-pressed to make any sort of noise later this month. Of the bubble situation, Beal said, “It’s not a walk in the park, and that’s what guys are concerned about.” Stay tuned for a final update on Beal’s status in the coming hours ahead of today’s deadline to make a decision.
