Trey Burke officially signs with the Mavericks

Free agent guard Trey Burke has officially signed with the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the NBA restart. (Bobby Karalla on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Burke will take the place of C Willie Cauley-Stein who has decided to opt out of playing the remainder of the season. The Mavericks will be without Cauley-Stein and Dwight Powell when the season resumes, and head coach Rick Carlisle admittedly said “we’re gonna be a little small [with only 3 guys over 6-foot-7].” Burke last played for the Sixers during the 2019-20 season and will provide the Mavs with playmaking and scoring off the bench.
