Crawford is still capable of scoring and draining threes and is hoping to land a contract with an NBA team by next season. “It may not be the beginning of next season, maybe a team that’s fighting for the playoffs later on in the season,” said Crawford. At that point, I would probably if it doesn’t happen, I would probably say, Okay that’s it.” The 40-year-old averaged 7.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.0 triples for the Suns in the 2018-2019 campaign. Crawford plans on retiring if he is unable to latch onto an NBA team by the end of next year.
