Mavericks G/F Tim Hardaway Jr. is fully expected to travel with the team to Orlando, however he is “still up in the air” on whether or not he’ll suit up when the games begin. (Callie Caplan on Twitter)
Hardaway Jr. told reporters, “I’m still up in the air right now, but I love the game of basketball...When you have the opportunity to do the one thing you love, you just go for it.” It sounds like Hardaway Jr. is fully healthy, he just wants to make sure he’s doing the right thing amidst a restart of the season in an ongoing pandemic. He’s the 3rd or 4th option on offense for the Mavericks after Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. In order for the Mavs to make some noise in the bubble, they will need a full complement of players, especially given the already missing pieces in Jalen Brunson and Dwight Powell.
