Jayson Tatum, when asked about what he worked on during the hiatus, said, “I can get better at everything. So, I guess the answer is just trying to take it up another level. (Boston Celtics on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

How scary would a “next level” Jayson Tatum be? I don’t know, but I do believe it would be safe to say that he would be an even bigger problem for teams to handle come competition time. He is already having his best year as a pro, setting career highs in every major statistical category as he averaged 34.6 minutes of playing time, 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.4 steals, and .9 blocks per game. He is shooting 44.8 percent from the floor and 39.8 percent from beyond the arc, making the combination of offensive and defensive prowess a significant threat to any scripted game plan. Although he has already positioned himself as a high-value play, should he be able to take his game to another “level” one could say he would solidify himself as an elite fantasy asset for the remainder of the year. If you haven’t already, it may be an excellent time to get in on Tatum, before his salary is adjusted to match the potential of his new “level” of production.
