Kelly Oubre Jr. has yet to be ruled out of returning this season. In providing an update on the four-year pro coach, Monty Williams said, “He does a little bit of court work, but for the most part he’s on the side rehabbing and trying to get himself in tip-top. He’s in good shape, but he’s not in the type of game shape that he wants to be in. He’s healthy, he looks great, body looks great, he’s got his bounce.” Oubre suffered a torn meniscus in February. Fantasy Impact:

Oubre’s commitment to the rehab process from day one seems to be paying off based on the promising review made by coach Williams. He still has some ways to go to get into game-ready shape, but one can be confident that he is doing all he can to return successfully. His production has been significant this year, as he was averaging a career-high 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Should Oubre make enough progress to rejoin the team this season, he could be considered an asset for your fantasy squad. Of course, a wait-and-see approach would be recommended to truly gauge the potential of his production, as he would be returning from injury.
