Nikola Jokic expected to arrive in Orlando ‘very, very soon’

According to head coach Mike Malone, Nuggets star C Nikola Jokic is expected to join the team in the Disney World bubble “very, very soon.” (Ohm Youngmisuk on Twitter)

Malone added, “no new arrivals today, but the midnight hour has not struck yet and I'm expecting a big surprise from Europe to arrive fairly shortly. Aside from that, no new players have arrived. We are awaiting positive news.” Sounds like Jokic could be arriving Sunday and will have to quarantine upon arrival prior to working out with his teammates, but then it’ll be business as usual for the Nuggets. They find themselves as the 3-seed in the Western Conference standings, just 1.5 games back of the Los Angeles Clippers. Jokic this season has averaged a career high 20.2 points to go along with 10.2 boards and 6.9 assists. He’s a walking triple-double and will be a popular DFS target if coach Malone doesn’t limit his minutes.
