Alex Caruso expecting to see increase in ball-handling responsibilities

Alex Caruso told reporters that he is expecting more work as a secondary ball-handler while Rajon Rondo recovers from his thumb injury. Caruso also mentioned that Quinn Cook could also share this role with him. (Mike Trudell on Twitter)

With Rondo out, @ACFresh21 acknowledged he’s going to have to do more secondary ballhandling. He mentioned Quinn Cook as well, and said, “Whoever is going to be called upon is going to be ready to go.” Caruso also talked about integrating the new guys (Waiters, Smith).

With starting minutes, Caruso has been a consistent fantasy option with good three-point range. With Rondo out, Caruso could carve out a larger role on the Lakers' offense and become a productive option for them.
