This is merely a rest day for Favors as Alvin Gentry stated, "there is no rush to stick him out there", given that it is only a scrimmage game. Favors is on track to play in the Pelicans next scrimmage game on Saturday against the Nuggets. The 10-year vet is averaging 9.2 points and 9.9 rebounds a night and should play an important role for the Pelicans as they attempt to secure a playoff spot in Orlando.
