Harrison Barnes will not have a minutes restriction against Spurs

According to Kings Insider James Ham, Harrison Barnes will not have a minutes restriction when the Kings face the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. (James Ham on Twitter)

Kings center Richaun Holmes will also not be on a minutes restriction. Barnes cleared COVID protocol just six days ago, so he is still getting back into game shape and coming off the bench. With Marvin Bagley ruled out for the rest of the season, Barnes will likely earn more minutes at the PF position and could be a good value play in DFS, assuming he gets north of the 21 minutes he received in the Kings most recent scrimmage. As one of the veterans on the young Kings team vying for a playoff birth and injuries to the front-court, Barnes has a decent chance to improve upon his yearly averages of 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, on 46% shooting in 64 games this season.
