Harry Giles III plays just four minutes in King's opener

Harry Giles III scored two points (1-2 FG) with one rebound, and one assist in Friday night's 129-120 loss to the Spurs.

Fantasy Impact:

Was it a bad matchup for Giles or did he do something between the scrimmages and tonight's game that put him in Luke Walton's doghouse? With Marvin Bagley sidelined for the remainder of the season and Alex Len missing tonight's game, we fully expected Giles to see the court more than four minutes. Prior to the shutdown, Giles had been playing well in 20+ minutes per game. He scored double figures in seven straight games between February 22 and March 5, but that was without Richaun Holmes in the lineup. Holmes only played 23 minutes himself in this one, but it looks like Walton is much more comfortable with him getting the bulk of the minutes at the 5. Roster Giles at your own risk at this point, as four minutes off the bench just won't cut it.
