Jaren Jackson Jr. scores 21 points, knocks down clutch three in defeat

by Dan Titus | Grizzlies Correspondent | Sun, Aug 2nd 9:39pm EDT

Jalen Jackson Jr scored 21 points (8-13 FG, 3-3 FT) with three rebounds, two blocks, two steals, and two three's across 35 minutes in Sunday's 108-106 loss to the Spurs.

Fantasy Impact:

Jalen Jackson Jr hit a clutch three late in the 4th quarter, but DeMar DeRozan played spoiler by knocking down two free-throws to seal the game for San Antonio. JJJ is shooting 40% from three in his past ten games dating back to March, and he'll continue to be a good source of blocks as well. His lack of rebounds and assists hurts his value in DFS, but he is still playing well enough to warrant consideration going into next week. Jackson Jr. will face the Pelicans tomorrow night.
