LeBron James teases triple-double with 22/8/9 line

by Dan Titus | Lakers Correspondent | Tue, Aug 4th 1:46am EDT

LeBron James led the Lakers to a 116-108 victory over the Jazz, netting 9-of-16 shots, 2-of-5 three's, and two free throws en route to scoring 22 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, two steals, and one block in 35 minutes of play.

Fantasy Impact:

James spent the first three-quarters of the game getting his teammates involved before he came alive in the 4th to score 10 of his 22 points. The Lakers locked in the top-seed in the Western Conference after this win, making James a candidate to pick up a few "DNP-rest" designations on the Lakers injury report as they close out their remaining regular-season games. Through 63 games this season, the King is averaging an MVP-like 25.4 points, 10.4 assists, 8.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 0.5 blocks in 34.9 minutes per game.
