Jaxson Hayes logs six minutes in win over the Grizzlies

Hayes only logged six minutes in the Pelicans' win over the Grizzlies, while only managing two points and two rebounds in the contest. Monday's game will mark the first time since the beginning of the "seeding" games that he failed to reach five or more rebounds. He committed three turnovers early in the game, and in a must-win scenario, it appeared the coaches were set on playing their "experience" than "potential." Hayes has shown the ability to contribute in the rotation; however, with his inexperience starting show within these "win-now" games, it threatens to negatively impact his fantasy appeal. Given Hayes' upside, he could still be a viable option in deep-league formats, and could even be a cheap flier in DFS as part of a scrubs-and-stars lineup.
