P.J. Tucker scores 6 points in Rockets loss

by Brett Tomlinson | Clippers Correspondent | Wed, Aug 5th 9:17am EDT

P.J. Tucker scored just 6 points in 34 minutes as Houston lost to the Portland Trailblazers. Tucker was 2-of-7 from the field with two three-pointers made. Tucker also had eight rebounds and one steal.

Fantasy Impact:

Tucker has gotten off to a slow start for the Rockets during the NBA restart, struggling to find some shooting consistency in the past two games. Tucker is rarely going to be a top offensive option for the Rockets, but can normally provide some solid rebounding and steady three-point shooting. Tucker has a tough role as an undersized starter in the Rockets' front court, which could be limiting him offensively. The Rockets play the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, so fantasy owners should avoid Tucker as he'll have his hands full trying to guard Anthony Davis.
